Registration will open August 4, 2024 for Registered parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus & St. Mary’s Mission

Tuition for Religious Education is $65 per family

Tuition for Confirmation Year 2 has an additional Retreat Fee of $200 per student

PLEASE NOTE: No child is refused. All are welcome regardless of financial status. Speak with our Religious Education team if you have any questions or needs.

  • Grade K- 1 - Parents are encouraged to participate in class activities with their children. In line with archdiocesan guidelines, 1st grade is the first year of sacramental preparation for Reconciliation and Communion.

  • Grade 2 - 2nd Graders that attended class in 1st grade and are beginning their second year of classes, are enrolled in sacramental preparation and receive the 1st Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in the spring. Those that are just starting classes for the first time will be enrolled in a 1st-year class and will receive Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in the spring of their 3rd grade year.

  • Grades 3-8 - Each year we delve deeper into the practices and beliefs of the Catholic Church with a focus on the rich Liturgical Calendar, prayers, sacraments, and the Mass. Children that need to receive their sacraments must attend classes for 2 consecutive years.

  • Grades 9-11- High school students may begin their journey to receive the sacrament of Confirmation by attending two years of Confirmation classes. They will also attend an off-campus retreat during their second year.

  • Grade 12 - Students entering their Senior Year of high school must attend extra classes to make up for a shortened program. They will also attend and off-campus retreat.

  • Grades 6-8 - CLASSES FULL

  • Grades 9-11 - YEAR 1 Confirmation CLASS FULL - YEAR 2 Students may register and pay for retreat.
