The Knights of Columbus practice the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism and is open to practical Catholic men (Confirmed and Practicing Catholic), over the age of 18. Founded in 1882 by Father Michael McGivney at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut to support the sick, disabled, and needy members and their families. Today the Knights still support and provide assistance to their local parish and community organizations.
